Chinoiserie

The watercolor effect on this print is so delicate it almost looks hand-painted, and it's subtle enough to work in a nursery or playroom without feeling babyish. I keep finding new little details in the motif every time I walk past the wall.

The watercolor detail is even softer in person than on screen—it gives the whole room a calm, dreamy feel. We’ve moved it from the playroom to the hallway and it works beautifully in both spots.

We hung this in our daughter’s reading nook and the soft watercolor motif makes the whole corner feel calmer. The print works beautifully against both white and pale blue walls, so we’re already planning a second spot for it.
