I hung this in our downstairs powder room and the structured grid layout keeps it from feeling too busy or childish. The marine pattern reads as subtle and nautical up close but gives the whole hallway a nice playful lift.

The hand-drawn fish have so much character and the repeat lines up perfectly across the whole wall, no awkward seams. I was worried a marine print would look too theme-y, but the structured layout keeps it feeling tailored instead.
