Firma Chasing Paper nawiązała współpracę z Jennifer Orkin Lewis z August Wren, aby przenieść ilustracje artystki na skalę większą niż życie. Jej prace cechuje głęboka miłość do koloru, wzoru i natury. Jej spontaniczne i radosne obrazy gwaszowe przedstawiające kwiaty, krajobrazy, ludzi oraz okazjonalne medytacyjne abstrakcyjne przemyślenia otwierają kolorowe i kuszące okno na chwile wędrówki, wspomnień i miejsca.
The watercolor texture up close is what sold me — you can actually see the brushstrokes, which makes the wall feel like a painting instead of a print. Hung it in the hallway and it's held up fine so far.
I hung a single panel behind my reading chair and the oversized florals completely changed the feel of that corner. The paper has a nice matte finish so there's zero glare, even with a lamp right beside it. Lines up cleanly at the seams too.
The colors are so vivid in person, and the oversized scale really makes the illustrated flowers feel like they're blooming right out of the wall. I've stared at it every day since I put it up, and it keeps making me smile. The detail in the linework is just gorgeous up close.
